Our debut album, Welcome To The Tiki Farm, is intended as a sonic field guide to The Tiki Farm in Pearlington, MS where chef Ernie Foundas grows the exotic fruits and vegetables used in the unique dishes prepared at Suis Generis Restaurant in New Orleans, LA. Taking a bio-acoustic approach, recorded sounds from birds to frogs to bugs to water and more, are used on the album as nature’s orchestra accompanying the musicians - a collaboration of sorts. Most of the song titles are the plants that grow on the farm as well as the local pond dwelling alligator; Motu. The sounds of the Tiki Farm are heard through out as the sonic motif for the music.

The music is inspired by exotica music of the 1950s/‘60s, film soundtracks and sci-fi. Enjoy this with your favorite food or beverage. Welcome To The Tiki Farm aims to transport the Tiki Farm to your body, mind and palate. Thank you for your time.

Please note that the vinyl sequencing differs from the streaming/CD versions in that ‘Welcome To The Tiki Farm’ is the last track on side two instead of track one, side one.
